Former Tigers hero Justin Whittle will pull on a City shirt once again after being added to the Masters squad.
The centre back was signed by Warren Joyce from Stoke in 1998 and made 219 appearances in all competitions, usually wearing the captain's armband. He left for Grimsby Town in 2004 after first team chances grew limited under Peter Taylor and enjoyed 4 seasons on the south bank.
Still living locally, he spent the 2008/09 season playing for Harrogate Town in the Conference (North) and then North Ferriby United in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
The 38-year-old joins his manager and fellow defender Neil Allison in the Hull City Masters squad, as well as teammate goalkeeper Steve Wilson. John Anderson is City's other option in defence, behind midfielders Lee Warren, Garry Parker and Leigh Jenkinson and strikers John Eyre and Duane Darby.
The 5-a-side games against fellow ex-professionals from other Yorkshire clubs take place on Saturday 18th July and will be televised live on Sky Sports. Click here for further information.
